Hi, welcome to kawmindset coaching.
My name is Kathryn.
Growing up, I struggled in ways I didn’t fully understand at the time. In school, I was often called a dreamer, easily distracted, or just “not applying myself.” Time management felt impossible, and no matter how hard I tried, my brain seemed to work differently from those around me. Looking back, I now recognise these challenges as part of my inattentive ADHD—something I only discovered later in life.
Like many neurodivergent individuals, I unknowingly chose career paths that constantly challenged me. I pushed through, adapting as best as I could, but over time, the struggles became overwhelming. It wasn’t until I was diagnosed with ADHD that everything clicked into place. For the first time, I understood why I had felt so out of sync for so long. More importantly, I realised that I wasn’t broken—I just needed to work with my brain, not against it.
That realisation led me to the career I was truly meant for. Training as an ADHD coach and counsellor wasn’t just educational—it was validating. For the first time, I felt completely engaged and confident in what I was learning. It was proof that when we find the right environment, we can thrive.
