Georgina Scott-Barrett | Inattentive ADHD English Tutor

Hi, I’m Georgie, a fully qualified UK primary school teacher and ESL (English as a Second Language) specialist with over 10 years of experience in education. I also have inattentive ADHD, so I understand how frustrating and difficult learning (and remembering!) can feel.

I’m passionate about supporting students with inattentive ADHD, whether diagnosed or showing traits, to build their confidence in English through tailor-made 1:1 online lessons. I’m a positive and encouraging teacher who uses ADHD-friendly strategies to create a nurturing space where students can grow.

I’ve taught in primary schools in both the UK and China, and delivered more than 5,000 one-to-one online English lessons to children and adults from around the world. I hold a PGCE in Primary Education and have taught across all primary year groups (Reception to Year 6), giving me a strong understanding of the English National Curriculum and how to support learners at different stages. I also hold a CELTA qualification (awarded with a Grade A) and have an Enhanced DBS check for your peace of mind. I’m proud to have a 5-star rating after thousands of online lessons, and that many of my students have stayed with me for years. Some families have been with me since I first started teaching online over five years ago.

I believe students learn best when they feel relaxed, confident and engaged. That’s why my lessons are tailored to each student’s level, interests and individual learning goals. I use games, visual supports, rewards and engaging activities to keep lessons fun and motivating. I design tasks that are carefully balanced to be challenging enough to support progress, but achievable enough to build a sense of success. My goal is for every student to leave each lesson feeling proud, supported and more confident.

Pricing: (£50 per hour)
£25 for 30-minute lessons
£37.50 for 45-minute lessons
