Qualifications: Penny is a graduate of the International ADHD Coach Training Center, CALC, is accredited and credentialed by the International Coaching Federation and is a Neurodevelopmental Practitioner in ADHD at Psychiatry UK.
About: Penny was inspired to train as an ADHD coach following the diagnosis of her two adult children and husband. Being part of this family has given her an acute awareness and insight into the enormous challenges that ADHD can present. But also, how much better life can be for those with ADHD, given the right treatment. With a background in Music Therapy and Special Needs teaching, it was natural for Penny to seek training in the best way to help them. Training as an ADHD coach far exceeded her expectations. It changed Penny’s perspective, behaviour, and the whole world. She saw first-hand the difference ADHD coaching can make. She described it as “life-changing for her family”.
What began as an attempt to help her loved ones became her mission.

I was diagnosed with ADHD at 30 years old after years of being misdiagnosed with anxiety and depression. I was consistently inconsistent in life. After the diagnosis, I was left in limbo, confused, trying to decipher the overwhelming amount of information online and left without any tools to understand ADHD and start to learn how to manage it.
After searching for support for a long time, I attended one of Penny’s sessions on ADHD UK, ”ADHD: Rumination and Negative Thought Patterns on ADHD UK -‘ 5 months ago; it was an eye-opening & enlightening session – I felt seen for the first time (even with my camera off on Zoom)
Since then, I have been in Penny’s AdvancedADHD 1:1 coaching program. Working with Penny, I have gained a deeper understanding of ADHD and how it shows up in me and my blockers, a sense of myself, and a clearer picture of my life goals (that I could never put into words). We have worked on strategies for communication, relationships, and boundaries throughout our sessions. All these areas have seen a massive improvement, which I can see and my friends and family have commented on.
Penny has helped me explore and connect the dots in areas where I needed help understanding and couldn’t see. With Penny’s guidance, I have gained perspective and implemented sustainable strategies through visualisation and prioritisation to pause and reflect, achieving a better balance in life and working towards and achieving goals.
Without concern or worry, I have achieved things I had put off for over 12 years, and I’m still shocked! I am excited to continue to learn and explore new strategies.
I feel more confident thanks to Penny’s kind, understanding, and patient approach, and my outlook on life and relationships has considerably improved. These new strategies have made each day more manageable, reducing the chaos I had been accustomed to.
Penny, I can’t thank you enough for your impact on my life.

I joined Penny’s “Parents of Adults with ADHD” Support Group after my grandson was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 21. I was surprised by the diagnosis and wanted to understand the condition better. The sessions I’ve had with Penny have been incredibly helpful, giving me valuable insight into ADHD and how it affects my grandson’s behavior.
After attending the group, I feel more equipped to tolerate and understand his behavior in a compassionate way. I’m very grateful to Penny for her kindness and the opportunity she has provided through this group. I’m looking forward to continuing with the sessions and learning more.

Working with Penny as my ADHD coach has been a deeply impactful experience. From the beginning, she recognized behavior patterns linked to my ADHD that had caused me a lot of shame.
She helped me understand that these behaviors are part of my ADHD, something I can learn to manage rather than feel ashamed of. This process has been like peeling back layers of myself, each step uncovering new insights and challenges. Penny’s support has been essential in helping me embrace the parts of myself I had been avoiding while also showing me practical ways to break free from the damaging cycles that had affected my life and those around me.
I’m deeply grateful for Penny’s guidance. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for support with ADHD.
