Diagnosed with ADHD at the tender age of 48, Katherine experienced a life-changing lightning strike of understanding as she finally saw her struggles and wins through the neurodivergent lens – the crippling cravings and intense emotions balanced by a somewhat superhuman ability to make stuff happen. Hyperfocus definitely on, she deep-dived into the world of neurodiversity, finding her tribe. After a spell working with ADHD UK, she started running their first monthly online support group for women. She found it so rewarding that she completed a coaching accreditation to offer more positive neuro-spectrum support and awareness to her fellow neuropeeps.
Her practice focuses particularly on the place of big and small trauma in our life, and she takes a connected body mind approach to healing. Her approach is fully bespoke, and will range from root cause exploration to practical life hacks, as well as integrating nervous system regulation techniques. Katherine accepts Access To Work funding and offers a 20% discount on prepayment for blocks of sessions, and can provide several interventions but not limited to:
– Individual coaching
– ADHD / neurodivergence awareness training
– ADHD / neurodivergence coping strategies
– Career support
– neurodivergence support work
Before finding her calling as a coach, Katherine’s career was in developing innovative educational programmes, running Little Inventors. Developing better self awareness and confidence saw her change her life drastically, moving from daily grind to become a published children’s book author, as well as fulfilling her childhood dream as a commissioned illustrator. She is mum to two equally neurodivergent teens, nine cats and a bearded dragon, and loves baking ridiculous cakes, live music and private karaoke. She loves breathwork and yoga as regulating practices.
She co-founded neurochicks.co.uk with Lex Harvey Bryn, a new community platform focused on offering affordable and accessible coaching through webinars, group coaching and courses.
