Sara is a Chartered Coaching and Occupational Psychologist, and a Psychotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), the British Psychological Society (BPS), and the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She works as clinical lead in the Atrium Clinic, renowned for its coaching and therapy work with individuals, employees and as a provider of training and clinical services to the NHS, disability services, and community services for over 25 years. She brings a multitude of different work experiences from occupational health, NHS and private mental health services, children and family therapies, student support and neurodivergence specialisms as well as a lived- experience of ADHD herself and as a parent to children with ADHD and other neurodivergence. She continues to train and advise schools, SENCOs, employers, agencies working with parents and their children and so has a sense of how they think too. As an HR adviser and SEND service clinician, she knows what these different contexts can provide in terms of reasonable adjustments to suit your needs and what you need to be asking for, from them!

Although assessor trained, Sara prefers to work with you to understand your ADHD and its impact and specific coaching support to help you move from survival to thriving. She employs evidence-based strategies to address your needs, and helps you appreciate the strategies that have already worked well for you alongside your strengths. Drawing upon Cognitive Behavioural Coaching (CBC), Trauma-based approaches, Solution focused Brief Coaching (SFBC), Compassion Focussed Coaching (CFC), Acceptance and Commitment Coaching (ACC), Emotion Focused coaching (EFC), Dialectical Behaviour Coaching (DBC) and Family and Systemic Approach (F&SA) she has a toolbox of approaches and knows other apps and resources to help you to solve daily problems and learn to hold your ADHD traits with affection!

Sara is caring, pragmatic, solution focused and down to earth. She uses her skills as a psychologist, psychotherapist, and coach and creates a safe and informal space to move forward with your ADHD companion.
